After a year of discussion with the author. Sea of Stars Publishing will republish the “Lord of Life” quartet as a new trilogy.

Date of publication has yet to be determined but it will most likely be within the next two years. End date of this new project to be targeted by end 2027.

Background:

I wrote this because a friend and I looked at a book from a rather famous and popular, but poorly-written Space Opera fanchise. And I asked:

“Are there any non-white main characters in this universe? Aren’t Chinese people the most populous ethnic group in our modern world! I mean, there are 1.5 billion of us! How about Eurasian people? Where are they?”

Then I saw a single-page comic where obviously black-skinned aliens land and ask to see the US president (then Donald Trump).

It was funny, but I realized that there is no law in the universe that states that a technologically powerful alien race and the creators of an interstellar empire has to be Caucasian-white.

I mean, the Martian Manhunter is GREEN! And The Martian in Duck Rogers of the 24th and a half century is jet black!

Kinda pissed at all the white nationalism being thrown around in America, I decided to create a non-white superior alien race. Why not? It COULD be possible. I mean, I always thought that the humans in Dune were likely an Arab or Semitic people!

Yes, there COULD be humanoid aliens. Convergent evolution, can also happen on another planet. They would look human, but they are NOT Homo Sapiens! There is likely something different about them that we cannot tell by merely looking at them. Comparative study of this species and us Earth-humans is necessary to figure out the difference. I have already worked this out biologically, YOU will have to read the books to really figure this bit out.

See folks, this whole “us vs them” BS has nothing at all to do with god ….cos if you look at DNA… we are all the same under so-called skin colour… on this damn planet, there is only one sentient humanoid race… humans….

I do notice that preachers do the whole “crusade” against some group when they want to aggregate political power ( ie. get tons of people to follow them)….see, nothing gets people going like fighting against some “other”

Of course the “preacher” will have to pick a group that is identifiable by sight…hence, many white nationalists pick a race with different colour skin.cos identifying a gay man would be a bit of a challenge by sight…

some two years back in Singapore, a preacher with a large congregation tried to start a crusade against the LGBT people.. but he obviously failed cos he tried to make an alliance with the leading muslim imam in my country… the moment he did that, everyone pointed out what a big fake he was…cos if he was really about god, he would quit his other career as a secular entertainer and shut up…cos honestly SIngaporeans are quite the “I do not see what you do at home” sort.. no man can stand anyone telling him who he can or cannot have sex with… it goes against his rights as an adult….as long as the govt do not touch his money unlawfully, he is okay…

Also muslims do not make any alliances with Christians…it is taboo..

Yes there are gay muslim men.. of course, but the imams want to handle it their own way.. from the mosque….not in parliament…most imams in Singapore are not stupid… also most want nothing to do with having a huge political fight.. that they know they cannot win…also, I would like to point out, every muslim imam knows that at least one of the leaders of a muslim state is likely gay… and has an all male harem….who it is, is something I will, for legal issues, not post…the sultan in question is good at keeping things under wraps…of course everyone talks about it.. one of my ex profs actually asked a national of that state if it was true….the person who was asked, was the son of a colonel from that gulf state…

So yes, every time some preacher goes on an LGBT triade… it is a plea for political power….What’s his face shaddup when I pointed it out in the local newspaper… cos the moment I said he was going for political power, the SIngaporean “secret police” who were watching my FB acct, I am sure(cos I was doing research on communists and also reading marxist literature), put his name on a blacklist…

So yes, I freely admit, I KNOW I am being watched… I do not care, cos according to the law, I have not done any illegal thing…also.. many people say shit on FB and honestly, no one cares….cos there is big diff between taking a gun to shoot and just saying… people here are not stupid… It is still a hard thing to kill a man…

See my Nazi hatred is karmic…. there is no other logical explanation. My grandmother had an odd tattoo on her forearm, serial numbers like many Holocaust survivors but she was never in a concentration camp because she was never in Europe…I do not know why she even had them…I guess it has to be karmic…Of course there were many things about her life that was a mystery so who knows…and she never told anyone the story behind it.. like she never told anyone that she had 6 kids….I found it out by accident…. we only know that she had 3 surviving sons….

I mean, when I was a kid…. even the Scooby Doo cartoons had them as bad guys….also I watched Captain America cartoons and of course, his enemy was the Red Skull..

by the time I was 20, it was like the Chechen hatred of Russians… it was in my bones… when I went to Germany in my 20s… I stayed with a German Journalist…and I remembered one evening…I bumped into some neo Nazis in a small village… when they spotted me,they chased after me and i only escaped by diving into her car, she had the  sense to drive off quickly…I did not want to be a corpse at 20+ dumped into an empty chemical vat in an abandoned factory…..that area of Germany had many abandoned factories…cos the economy at that time was horrible and many factories shut down.

7 Feb 2017, Singapore – Local jewellery design firm, Sea of Stars Crystals and Jewellery, a firm that provides natural gemstones and handmade silver and stainless steel jewellery to local retailers, has decided to change its business direction and enter the book market as a publisher.

After 8 years in the gemstone and jewellery trade, the local design firm has in January converted its business to book publishing. In part to fulfill the lifelong goal of owner, Tabitha Tan Yueh Li, 42, and to expand the business of the company.

Seizing the opportunity provided from having written an academic thesis in early 2011, Tabitha Tan began to explore book publishing. Even though she initially published her thesis with German publisher, LAP Lambert,  she eventually decided to take over publishing her own work because  LAP Lambert was not able to provide her thesis with  the publicity that she wanted and did not pay any loyalties initially agreed upon and did not update her on book sales. As of beginning February 2017, LAP Lambert has apparently withdrawn “War of Nerves” from Amazon.com. After Tabitha repeatedly informed the publisher of her desire to send her work to a local publisher.

“It’s just not right,” She said  of LAP Lambert, regarding the lack of information about book sales.

Eventually, encouraged by fellow entrepreneur, Mr. Ibrahim Tahir of Wardah Books, she finally issued the German publisher with an  ultimatum and republished the second edition of “War of Nerves”. In spite of the lack of communication, LAP Lambert gave up all claim to the work  by withdrawing the previous edition and all parts of it, kindle and paperback versions, from Amazon.

“I am so glad it has turned out like this,” she said with much relief, glad to not have to fight the copyright in a court of law.

“War of Nerves” a thesis written to fulfill the criteria for earning  a Masters of Science in Strategic Studies at the S.Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University(NTU) has finally come home to the rightful hands of Singaporeans. Where Tabitha hopes it will finally get the recognition that it deserves.

I was working on this for a few weeks. Grassroots Book Room, a chinese book store, had agreed early in February to carry books from this company. Both “War of Nerves” and “Abode of the Dead”. It  is a venture that was located at the North Bridge Centre and opened by 2003 Cultural Medallion and triple Singapore Literature Prize winner, Mr Yeng Pway Ngon (英培安), the author behind the works, The Studio (画室) and Unrest (騷動).

To explain it easily, it is behind the Dorsett Hotel in Chinatown and opposite from the Cantonment Police HQ. YOu can get there by taking the MRT to Outram and taking a lift with golden doors to the Dorsett and walk behind the hotel (there is a easy two-way entrance) to get to the bookstore.

The bookstore carries mostly Taiwanese Chinese books but also has a shelf for English books. If you cannot find our books(highly unlikely, the English shelf is facing the front door.), ask the lady at the counter.

I am not a fan and not a  supporter… politically speaking I am leftist and partially socialist… (I was brought up in a multicultural socialist society.)

My motto is… live how you folks want… just do not impose ur standard on other people.

I mean, if you think that imposing your religion on people and imposing your patriarchal values on women is the way to go, its ur choice…

If you are for environmental protection, gay marriage and whatnot… I am not going to argue with you… science has not proven to me that being gay = unnatural. In fact, I think science has shown that sex = sex and HOW it happens is none of anyone’s business. The only thing I support is need for responsible sex.. and protection…

Of course, as a scientific person I am all for condoms ( male or female) and  birth control…( you do not want babies when you cannot look after them ) and of course, you do not want STIs either… as any gay man can tell you, you cannot trust a single person to be honest about being HIV-.. also how many people will bring along the test result slip of their last HIV test.. and wave it to their potential partner? I mean, I can do it, cos I do not care.. yes, I did go for the HIV test…. it is now gov regulation…end up in  hospital, a nurse will talk to you about HIV testing… public education and also for safety (now subsidized when you go in, it is almost free… also private… the sg gov wanna catch all infected people and make sure they are traceable… it’s not religious, and for obvious reasons. eg. contact tracing… )

About Donald aka Orange Cheeto… here is how I see it…

See thanks to the Cheeto, we know know that roughly half of all Americans are racist… in spite of the efforts of good people, Nazism has not died… you all know it as the KKK, Aryan Nation and other white supremacist and white nationalist  groups.Till recently, theirs was an ideology that has not had much traction. In fact as of beginning 2016, the KKK had a record low 5 mil members…. it was so bad, they even talked about allowing some jewish people in cos otherwise 5 people cannot form a recognized organization with political clout…Hey considering its history , 5 mil members is a pathetic amount.

How what Cheeto has done is put a face to the ideology, being that he is the son of  bona fide KKK members. And guess what, it is an ideology that has grown quietly over so many years.. sometime in the 70s, knowing that white= power folk realized that they needed to piggyback on a more popular ideology… enter Christianity and some branches of paganism… Thus you get a lot of folk like Focus on the Family and other “Christian” Identity folks espousing frankly exclusive and pro-white values…

As a child brought up in the”Christian fundementalist” world of my childhood church, my view of Christianity was of a poor pastor who drove a pickup truck to bring kids to school. In those days, whoever could read was automatically a teacher . Also he  gave kids proper names.. cos honestly “Ah Kow” (Dog in Hokkien) isn’t a name that would fly in proper society. Many kids were usually named by the village pastor or scholar. In those days, thanks to the influence of China, many of these Chinese scholars were also communist… who saw no difference between Christianity and communism/socialism.

Thus Christian fundmentalism in Singapore was relatively isolated from the white power values of the US. Until recently… I suppose the Singaporeans should have cut ties long ago.

I was almost a communist as a teen… until I found out that it was not compatible at all.

Now thanks to Cheeto… we have a good view of how far Nazism has spread through American society… Hell, Mein Kampf (ie. “My War”) has not been burned till the only copies left are in libraries..

Frankly, he has shown us how far the hypocrisy  goes. No… America is not a “Christian” nation, no it is a Nazi nation, where the only way to make it is if you are white, male and “Christian” or can pass off as one. Sadly, I say sadly, Cheeto has leveraged on all of that. I actually honestly think if we had met, we might have been friends. Cos we have similar temperament or we might be bitter rivals…

Yes, the only difference between me and Cheeto is that I am not white and I have a longer attention span and I can read books without falling asleep. The thing about University education is that it trains your attention, focus and makes you sit up at details when you read them.

If I had not done higher education, I would be worse than Cheeto.

I think he is not illiterate and can probably read but he will likely kill us all cos he was not paying attention to details. Think about how he signed Steve Brannon onto national security. I mean, we can’t blame him. I mean, he was brought up in the TV watching culture of the US. If it isn’t in easily-digestible sound bites, he can’t get his news.

The best way to talk to the Cheeto is through a TV-like medium… like YouTube or similar…cos I guarantee you this, Twitter won’t help…he needs pictures and a show… does it sound like a lot of American folk? If it sounds like your neighbour or a friend, do not be astounded…

Cheeto might kill us all without knowing he signed the order for firing a nuke… that is the saddest thing of all. Its that our lives are in the hands of a dumbo… this is why I prefer a president who reads… at least the person would know what they are doing.

I wish the address could be at suntec city or a nice downtown location, but to save costs, I used the only legal address allowed by the government. So sorry folks it looks like flatted factories… reality of life means I look out the window and see ex-farmers turning up plants on government allotted land.

My cousin said that the only nice thing was this basketball court outside… yes, he is 1.9m+ in height…a giant by most standards…( He has no interest being Shaq…) But it has everything and you can walk up to it if you want to buy books. It even has CCTV.. monitored by  my ex-farmer neighbour…(believe me when I say they monitor it.. I once saw them staring at the CCTV screen through an open window… They had trouble with local gangs and got it installed with permission from the cops nearby… we are well protected the cops are located a block away.
